⚡ Pro Tips
📈
Interactive stickers boost reach by ~50%. Always include at least one — polls and quizzes get the most taps.
🎬
Use 3-5 frames per sequence. Frame 1: text hook. Frame 2: interactive element. Frame 3-5: context or reveal.
⏰
Post between 7-9 AM or 7-9 PM for peak Story views. Consistency matters more than timing.
🎵
Music note: Business accounts have a restricted music library (commercial tracks only). Creator accounts get the full library.

💡
Facebook vs. Instagram: FB Stories can be shared to Groups and Events. FB has text-only Stories with gradient backgrounds. But FB Stories don't have Highlights, Add Yours, or Emoji Slider stickers.
⚡ Pro Tips
📈
Polls get the most engagement on Facebook Stories. Keep options short and fun.
⚠
Cross-posting heads up: If you auto-share IG Stories to FB, interactive stickers become static images. Create separately for best results.
👥
Audience check: Personal profile Stories default to Friends. Page Stories default to Public. Make sure you're posting from the right place.

How to Go Live
⚠
Requirements: Professional account (Creator or Business), 1,000+ followers, account at least 30 days old. Don't have 1,000 followers yet? Use Practice mode (step 4) to rehearse until you get there.
1
Open the Camera
Open Instagram. Tap the + icon at the bottom, or swipe right from your feed to open the camera.
2
Swipe to "Live"
At the bottom of the camera screen, you'll see Story, Reel, Post, Live. Swipe until Live is selected.
3
Add a Title
Tap "Title" on the left side. Write a short, descriptive title (e.g., "First-Time Buyer Tips" or "AMA: Medicare Questions"). This shows in notifications to your followers.
4
Choose Your Audience
Pick who can see your Live:
Public — anyone can watch (best for reach)
Close Friends — your Close Friends list only
Practice — only you can see (great for testing!)
5
Go Live!
Tap the big Live button. You'll get a 3-2-1 countdown, then you're broadcasting. Your followers get a notification.
6
Engage While Live
Comments scroll at the bottom. Pin a comment (tap and hold) to keep your CTA visible. Use the ? icon for Q&A mode. Tap the faces icon to invite up to 3 guests.
7
End and Save
Tap End (top-right X). Then choose:
Share as Reel — saves to your profile grid
Share to Stories — 24-hour replay
Download — save to your phone
⚡ Pro Tips
📣
Announce 24 hours before. Post a Story with a Countdown sticker and a feed teaser. Followers who tap "Remind Me" get a notification.
⏰
Wait 2-3 minutes before starting your real content. Say hello, let people trickle in.
🎤
Talk to one person, not a crowd. Pretend you're FaceTiming a friend. It feels warmer and more authentic.
💬
Ask a question every 2-3 minutes to keep engagement up. End with a clear CTA: "Drop a heart if you want the link."
⏱
15-30 minutes is the sweet spot. Long enough to build audience, short enough to stay tight.
⚠
Requirements: Page must be 60+ days old with 100+ followers. You need admin or editor access. Going Live from a personal profile requires an account 60+ days old.
1
Go to Your Page
Open Facebook and navigate to your Business Page (not your personal profile). Going live from your Page gives you the best reach and keeps it professional.
2
Tap "Live Video"
In the post creation area, tap Live Video (camera icon). Grant camera and microphone permissions if prompted.
3
Write a Title and Description
Add a compelling title — this shows in the feed and notifications. Add a description with context. You can also tag people and add a location.
4
Check Your Settings
Confirm audience is Public (best for reach). Choose front or rear camera. Toggle flash if needed. Mute/unmute mic with the microphone icon.
5
Go Live!
Tap "Start Live Video". You'll get a 3-second countdown, then you're broadcasting.
6
Engage While Live
Comments and emoji reactions appear in real time. Pin a comment with your CTA. Create polls during the broadcast. Invite up to 3 guests.
7
End and Share
Tap "Finish". The replay saves as a post on your Page automatically. You can trim it, download it, or convert to a Reel. Auto-deletes after 30 days unless saved.
💻
Desktop option: For professional-quality broadcasts, use Live Producer at facebook.com/live/producer. You get lower thirds, scrolling tickers, logo overlays, and can connect streaming tools like OBS or StreamYard.
⚡ Pro Tips
📣
Announce 24 hours before. Post a teaser to your Page and share it to your Story. Build anticipation.
📶
WiFi strongly recommended. Cellular can drop quality. Facebook recommends 5-8 Mbps upload for 720p video.
🎤
Page vs. Profile: Always go live from your Business Page for professional reach. You can't switch mid-stream, so choose before starting.
📷 Equipment Checklist
💡
Ring light or window light — face the light, don't sit with it behind you
📱
Phone mount or tripod — no shaky hand, positioned at eye level
